So much attention is paid to the importance of leaders inspiring other people. But how do we discover and maintain the inspiration we need first – for ourselves? And what are the implications for the leaders of brands?
The Brand Exchange is delighted to host a working session run by Andy Bird who will help us explore our own answers to these questions. Previously the head of Unilever’s Marketing Academy and a Co-Founder of Brand Learning, Andy has just published a fascinating new book called The Inspired Leader.
The book is based on extensive new research, conducted in association with Henley Business School, into the real life experiences of leaders from many different walks of life. Drawing on the latest behavioural science, Andy will share how inspiration is actually experienced by people in positions of leadership. He will also draw out important opportunities for marketers to play a bigger role in inspiring people throughout the organisations they work for.
